Tutorial: Add Links

On the left side navigation bar click Links > Add New
Enter the name of the link that will appear on the page
Enter the Web Address for the link to click-through to
Enter a description for the link
Specifiy the target
Click the “Save” button to add the link to the Links menu bar

Tutorial: Add a pdf to a page

Click the “Add Media” icon above a post
Click the “Media Library” link
Click the “show” link beside the .pdf file
Click the “File URL” button to set the “Link URL”
Click Insert Into Post – a text link will be inserted into your page
Move the cursor to the link on the page and use the link icon to set the “target” for the page

Tutorial: Custom Meta Keywords

If you want to add unique meta keywords to a page you can use a custom field:

Edit the page
Under “Custom Fields” > “Add new custom field:” set the name to “metaKeywords” (no quotes)
Set the value to be each keyword separated by commas. e.g. “Amy, Frank, Steve” (no quotes)
Click “Add custom field”
Publish the page

Tutorial: Hide share button

If you want to hide the share button on any page you can use a custom field:

Edit the page
Under “Custom Fields” > “Add new custom field:” set the name to “hideShareButton” (no quotes)
Set the value to “true” (no quotes)
Click “Add custom field”
Publish the page

Tutorial: Product Pages

To create a product page you must do the following:

Create a new page
On the left side, under “Attributes” use the drop-down list to set the “Template” to “Products“
Add a title for the page
Set the page order
Insert an image into the post by clicking the “Add an image” icon
Upload the appropriate image – by default this should be 200×200 but can really be anything. Tall products should appear beside each other on their own lines if possible
Set the title - this is used for the product title that gets displayed on the page
Unfortunately, you have to write html to include the product bullet points. The type of HTML is called an Unordered List (”ul”). Each item in the list will be a List Item (li). In the description, add the following:

Single and Double tub
If you need additional points add more “
If the image needs to be resized to 200×200 than set the image size to “small”
Click “Insert into Post”
Publish the page

Known Issues:

This is not the final solution for the product functionality. This is a temporary solution to get the site up. There are some limitations that we cannot get around until a better solution is in place. Please be aware of the following:

Image order cannot be adjusted and has nothing to do with the order the images appear on page. It’s in reverse chronological: the last product uploaded is the first product shown on a page. Try to upload the images in the opposite order you want them to appear.
A product can only appear in a page once. If you want the same product on multiple pages you have to upload the same image multiple times
You cannot edit a product once it’s been inserted
You must delete a product from the media library to remove it from the page
